The Airbus A320 is a very popular passenger aircraft from the French manufacturer Airbus. There is a good chance that you will soon be flying with it, because in the Netherlands both KLM and Transavia will be flying with the Airbus! SimFlying's new A320 simulator is a detailed, lifelike full-scale cockpit of an A320. The simulator uses professional software so that the flight behavior is very realistic. In addition, we use 4K projectors, which gives you a unique experience on board our simulator.

The large cockpit displays include the PFD. On the left side of the PFD is the airspeed indicator, displayed in knots (Indicated Airspeed). A similar bar is displayed on the right side, showing altitude in feet. The gray "needle" on the right side is also essential for manual flight. This gauge indicates the rate of climb or rate of descent, i.e., how quickly you are ascending or descending.
Then comes the center screen within the PFD. This displays the artificial horizon, which shows the aircraft's pitch. The heading can also be read in the gauge displayed below.
The Throttle Quadrant controls the engines of the Airbus A320. The throttles are the most important part of your flight. Unlike the Boeing 737NG, the Airbus uses fixed positions to give the engines more power.
The Flight Control Unit, commonly known as the FCU, is a crucial part of the Airbus A320 system. It plays a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, and is therefore the heart of the aircraft. The FCU is responsible for the management and control of various functions, including the autopilot.
