The minimum age for the Airbus A320 is 12 years old, and for the Boeing 737, 14 years old.
Can I train as a professional at SimFlying?
Yes. SimFlying is also ideal for (aspiring) professionals. You can come to us for preparation for assessments, pro-checks or renewed cockpit skills - under the guidance of real pilots.
Where is SimFlying located and how do I get there?
SimFlying is located in Aalsmeer, near Schiphol. We are easily accessible by car and you can park for free in front of the door. Do you have questions? Then you can easily reach us via WhatsApp, telephone or e-mail.
Does SimFlying also organize team outings or company outings?

Highly recommended for a cockpit experience. Great equipment and software, plus excellent explanation and guidance from an experienced pilot. There were four of us flying for two and a half hours in various configurations regarding pilot flying and captain. It was very special to be able to practice this in such a realistic way. We flew in the Airbus A320 cockpit: awesome, even for inexperienced simmers. We definitely look at planes flying overhead with a different perspective now... 😉

We visited SimFlying because our 12-year-old son is absolutely crazy about airplanes and flying. He already had experience with flight simulators on the console, but this was, of course, on a whole other level. We had booked a 2-hour morning session. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly, and everything was explained clearly and calmly by the staff member. Afterwards, our son was allowed to take a seat in the simulator and fly himself. It was a special and lifelike experience that far exceeded his, as well as my, expectations. This is highly recommended for anyone interested in flying. We will certainly be back!

Last Saturday, I went to SimFlying with a friend of mine. We had both turned 50 and gave ourselves this gift. We went for the extensive briefing and 3,5 hours of flying. That seems like a lot, but (no joke intended) the time flew by. Our instructor was a pilot who used to fly the 747 and is now an instructor for the A320/321. At the beginning, he asked what we wanted and what our experience level was—which was beginner—and he then explained everything in detail. We were allowed to do everything ourselves, and he provided some exciting scenarios, such as oncoming traffic at the same altitude. We made four flights in real-time, and you really get the feeling that it is real. We will never get closer to "the real deal." The only "downside" is that this certainly wasn't our last time, hahaha. Thank you so much for the amazing experience, and see you next time! What an amazing experience at Sim Flying! From the very first moment, we were welcomed in a super friendly manner. The explanation was clear and calm, making us feel at ease immediately. Highly recommended! We had a 2-hour slot in the A320 simulator. Duncan was our instructor and he did a truly amazing job! After a pleasant chat with Duncan, we finished our coffee and a flight plan was drawn up to meet our wishes. For example, we really wanted all four of us to have the same experience, as we had absolutely no experience with flight simulators, and certainly not one like this. The simulator itself was incredibly realistic, both in terms of instrument execution and visibility. Under Duncan's friendly and patient watchful eye, we then took a short flight and learned a great deal, but also had a lot of fun. The fact that we had no prior experience was not a problem at all thanks to him! We are all four very satisfied and hope to come back again! PS One more tip. Don't forget to take photos! You get so caught up in flying that it's easy to forget about it.

An hour and a half of flying in the 737 seems to fly by. Just about everything works in the simulator. After a warm welcome with a cup of coffee and a briefing, a friend of mine and I took our seats in the cockpit. I had thought up a few scenarios beforehand, and almost nothing seems too crazy: Jeroen can place us anywhere in the world or have us fly, after which we take over. He acts as ATC, and he does it perfectly! 👌 We practiced the difficult and challenging approach at LOWI; something I hadn't done in years as a simmer. It turned out to be doable in itself, but with such a steep approach, it was still quite a challenge. After two Go-Arounds and some tips from Jeroen, we landed safely! All in all, an excellent simulator. Better and more comprehensive than other sims I have flown in. Thumbs up! 👍

What an unforgettable experience at Symflying! Our son flew in the simulator yesterday, and it was fantastic from start to finish. He already has experience with flight sims at home, but this is truly something else entirely. There was a real pilot present who was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also exceptionally friendly and helpful. Everything was explained calmly and clearly, with genuine attention and enthusiasm. You immediately feel at ease and are drawn into the experience step by step. An excellent experience! As a somewhat more experienced Flightsimmer, I have often done sessions in flight simulators abroad. Generally, those were mostly about the fun factor. Now at SimFlying, alongside the fun, there was also a high learning element. Instructor Duncan is enthusiastic and adjusted the pace perfectly to suit me, allowing me to perform a complete flight in the A320 with sufficient calm and overview. He also provided enough challenge when there was room for it, which meant I learned much more as well. In addition to the flight, we also practiced an RNP approach and a go-around. Both at Funchal, which also looked graphically very beautiful. The A320 simulator is very well built, featuring, among other things, real sidesticks and a good, single-piece screen so the image is not distorted. Everything worked and felt robust. After this 2-hour session, I feel much more confident in the virtual cockpit. I also chose the option to record a video of the session. I received it quickly and, as far as I am concerned, it was very useful for reviewing the lessons learned. Enjoyed it immensely and learned a lot!

I had a fantastic experience with the flight simulator on September 19th! The instructor was very friendly. I am a retired woman and will never become a pilot, but despite that, everything was explained to me in detail and with great patience. We heard good things about Simflying. Well, they are all true. What an amazing experience. Good instruction, a calm explanation, choosing your own location to fly to, and the student pilot's full attention during the flight. It was even possible to simulate some events en route in the program, such as a plane getting too close, ice formation, or a bird strike. It all feels so real that sometimes it seems like you are actually making a turn. Our flight to Copenhagen on the Airbus A320 was amazing!

A great experience in this very professional A320 simulator. Suitable for beginners as well as experienced flight geeks and simmers. I spent 3,5 hours with a friend, and we were able to decide for ourselves what we wanted to do. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, we were given wonderful freedom in this sim world. Highly recommended for young and old, or anyone who dreams of becoming a pilot someday. Thank you Simflying, and in particular our instructor and ATC controller Matthijs!

My children gave me this session as a gift for my 2th birthday. It was a truly wonderful gift. It felt realistic, and I really had to put in some effort. The pilot, Ruben, was incredibly helpful and provided valuable, yet comprehensive, information, making the two hours fly by like five minutes. I've flown a lot as a passenger myself, but now I understand much better what happens in the cockpit. It was a fantastic experience, and thanks to everyone!

Last Tuesday, April 22nd, I had a three-hour session on the 3. Besides some preparation for flight school (which was useful, by the way), I also did a lot of other things. From practicing sharp turns to landing in Sint Maarten, everything was truly an experience. Instructor Dennis was very friendly and enthusiastic, and you could tell he was very passionate about his profession. Highly recommended.

Flying in the SimFlying simulator is just one thing: top. The cockpit is realistically simulated, there is friendly staff who are happy to help you if you don't know something and I also think the price-quality ratio at SimFlying is very good. In short, if you want to fly in an Airbus A320 or Boeing 737 simulator, go to SimFlying. It is the best place to do it!

My 13 year old son has been an "av-geek" for a year now: he plays a lot on his iPad with a flight simulator, loves spotting at Schiphol and always tries to look into the cockpit when we fly ourselves. This simulator is next level: it looks exactly like a real cockpit, the image and the experience are very realistic, and you are accompanied by a pilot who really flies this type of aircraft and who patiently answers all questions. It comes across as very professional. The instructor focused his attention completely on my son and took him really seriously. We have been twice now and the second time he let him do more things himself than the first time. We will definitely go more often.

My friend and I are very satisfied with our experience. The flight simulator is incredibly realistic; every button works just like in a real airplane. But that’s not all: we could even feel the weight of the Boeing 737 during turns, because even this aspect is faithfully replicated in the simulator. What made the experience truly exceptional was the presence of a real pilot. He started his career flying Boeings and has since switched to Airbus, making him a true professional in every respect. His expertise and enthusiasm were clearly noticeable during the session. He ensured a smooth and immersive flight and generously shared his knowledge whenever we had questions. Emotions play a key role in any adventure, and this adventure left us with a lot of positives. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the thrill of flying a commercial aircraft!

Mega beautiful experience. We flew the B737 and it is very realistic. Super fun guidance and nothing is required and everything is allowed. Nice to be able to read an instruction booklet beforehand and had a beautiful video recording afterwards. We will definitely come back again to fly the Airbus.

Great experience with my son Jens. Was a birthday present for him. After sitting in the cabin hundreds of times, it was very special to now fly a 737 in the cockpit myself. Admiration for how much faster my son as a young man has figured it all out, cool! And what a nice and smooth guidance by our real pilot Matthijs. After a successful secondary session with SimFlying, I am changing my review from 3 to 5. It is really nice to see that the new owners are industry colleagues, took matters into their own hands upgrading the simulators, moving to a new location, and working on bugs every simulator has. Therefore, the simulator is good for grading training, and I recommend this for industry-wide colleagues to do training post-within their AB Initio ATPL, or when going into selection with an airline. I recently visited them in preparation for an airline qualification. The simulator (B737) was sufficient to get to know the aircraft, the flight computer and the basic cockpit layout. What really makes a difference in such cases, however, is the support and training provided by the instructors. I had the pleasure of working with Rik, who guided me excellently and gave me tips to perform well during the upcoming inspection.

Review of my flying session at Simflying on February 1, 2025: Once again a very warm welcome from the instructor on duty, Jelle, and also a very pleasant introduction. A nice cup of coffee to get the "fly engine" started. The brain-twisting thinking would follow during the flying session. The program included the virtual emergency landing on the Hudson and a flight from Düsseldorf to Schiphol at night.
Although the start from runway 04 at La Guardia, New York, went entirely according to plan, the subsequent events following the impact of the bird strike unfolded differently than hoped and expected. That was a bit of a shame, and several resets of the onboard equipment followed. I got a retake from Jelle, and this time we performed the start from lane 04 again. This time, the flight and the emergency landing on the virtual surface of the Hudson River were successful. Following this, the scheduled night flight from Düsseldorf to Schiphol, based on a composite flight plan with a SID and STAR. The scenery with the landscape at night was very special; it made the experience very vivid. A nice landing. To make up for the time lost due to the technical malfunction of the onboard equipment, we made an extra flight from Schiphol to Eindhoven. This flight also proceeded very successfully right up to the landing. A heartfelt thank you to pilot/instructor Jelle, who taught me the finer points of the flying trade and for his great contribution to the session. Hope to see you again. With enthusiastic regards, Mariam Review of my flying session at Simflying September 28, 2023 Once again today, I had the privilege of experiencing an amazing and special flying experience, this time under the guidance of and in collaboration with an instructor (and professional captain active in Austrian airspace for many years). The welcome was already very nice and warm. Over a nice cup of coffee and the introductory talk during the briefing, he formulated a flight plan based on my technical flight requirements, comprising raw data, navigation, and communication. After the break, to focus on the mindset, we carried out another NITS briefing during a short EHAM circuit. In his assessment and my own perception, this briefing went quite well and was also very educational for me. So all in all, I traveled back to Emmeloord feeling very satisfied and with a nice flight certificate afterwards. Many thanks, Maarten, for your amazing and cool contribution. --- July 1, 2023 Today, for the second time since October 13, 2021, I got to take part in a new and sensational Sim session with a number of challenging complications, such as a NITS briefing, a go-around, flying in fog and darkness, and also flying with RAW data—so essentially purely manual flying—with sharp turns alternating left and right, while simultaneously managing to keep the aircraft at the correct altitude. Definitely really cool and of course also very educational, under the inspiring leadership of and in collaboration with the pilot on duty, Stan. Completed very successfully according to his findings. And I can also make the most of the skills and experience gained today at my other very familiar flying locations. As far as I am concerned, it certainly leaves me wanting more, and that is why I would love to come back again sometime! I was recently on vacation in the Netherlands and decided to try something new. I found a 737 simulator that was open to the public. I arranged my reservation in advance via the website. They offer simulator times in blocks, so you can decide for yourself how long you want to stay in the air, so to speak. In terms of location, it is close to Amsterdam Airport, so it is a really quick taxi ride to the venue. Upon arrival, the employee was very nice and offered a drink before we took to the skies. Once we stepped into the simulator, my wife got to sit in the co-pilot's seat during the simulation. I was able to try landing at some of the most interesting airports I could think of. The employee also offered great seats and tips during the flight. The only minor downside I could offer was that we had added a video package so we could get some memories of the event. Unfortunately, the employee forgot to set up the camera until the end of the session. Even so, the footage was lost. I also wish the resolution of the simulation on the screen was a bit more detailed compared to what I normally experience on a flight simulator at home. Regarding both of the above-mentioned issues, the company manager quickly resolved this and offered a small credit for my next flight when I visit Amsterdam. I was told that they are planning some upgrades to their projection system to offer a higher resolution for flying. I can't wait for this, as it will simply offer a different level of realism while simulating flight. I really wish we had something like this in the United States that was open to the public. Thank you all for opening your simulator, and I can't wait to come back and visit you in the future.

I would like to say that the flight simulator experience was amazing, especially thanks to Ed. I came for a 737 flight simulation with my son and my father (a retired air traffic controller who worked at Fiumicino Airport in Rome). Ed spent the entire session explaining all the functions of a 737 to my 12-year-old son, conveying his true passion for flying. He also spoke with my father, which made him incredibly happy and took him back to the time when he was an air traffic controller. Ed gave my son advice on the steps he can take to become a pilot. I think Ed is the real added value of the flight simulation.

An incredibly fun experience for my son and father, who were surprised with the chance to 'fly' in the Airbus A320 for two hours. Highly recommended for anyone who would like to experience what it is like to fly (and take off and land). We flew from Curaçao to Bonaire, from Amsterdam to Zurich, and ended up in London by night. Even as a 'passenger,' it was a unique experience!

Great experience on the new A320 together with instructor Rogier. Plays well on the wishes and competences of the participants and explains everything calmly and clearly. The 2 and a half hours literally flew by. I will definitely come back! Thanks SimFlying.

My wife gave me the gift of visiting SimFlying during our holiday in the Netherlands. I flew the A320, which turned out to be an excellent experience. The instructor, a real and experienced pilot—I'm ashamed I didn't catch his name—is a very helpful, fun, and nice gentleman. Peter was there too, and he is nice as well. The simulator was incredibly realistic. The control panel, the button, and the side stick are great. Amazing experience!!!! Keep up the good work, SimFlying!!

Assessment training done on the B737. I had not done my MCC on a B737 and wanted to prepare myself well for a grading. I learned a lot in a short time and am very satisfied with the instructors. I will definitely come back again!

Perfect and accessible location. After a welcome conversation we flew with the 737 to various airports. The experienced instructor (himself a 787 pilot) taught us the tricks of flying, taking off and landing with or without ILS. I can recommend everyone to experience it for themselves. You can choose between the Boeing 737 or the Airbus 320. Next time it will definitely be the Airbus 320 !!!

There were start-up problems with the simulator due to a bug in the software. We were offered coffee and tea in between and as compensation we got much more flight time than the original one and a half hours when the installation was started up again. Very neatly solved. And a nice experience richer

Today I flew with a colleague in the A320. Masood, a real life co-pilot, guided us fantastically. My colleague and I only have X-Plane experience including using charts. Masood, super friendly, made sure that he perfectly matched our level. This made it possible to use ATC and to practice the typical elements that are not possible at home, such as the feeling with the sidestick, foot pedals and the division of tasks between captain and co-pilot. Within 3,5 hours we were able to make two complete flights. The only tip for Simflying is to install iPads with the charts of the airports. Absolute recommendation, we will definitely come back here.

It was another great session. Enjoyed the 'flying'. Despite the excellent instructions from the instructor, there are now a few 737s lying here and there next to the runway, one keeps learning. The nice thing is that after a 'crash' an 'improved' person can continue, thanks to the simulator. I still find it great fun. By the way, the new location is great!

Together with my sister I flew a round around Dubai and the Alps under the guidance of pilot Jelle. It was a fantastic experience to be a pilot for an hour. In the meantime we were told a lot about what the buttons in the cockpit do and what a real pilot does in daily life. I can heartily recommend this outing to everyone.

I had this sim session from my mother, and I really liked it! I already have some experience with the A320 and the 737. Now I flew the 737, I had a young instructor, super nice! He is also a pilot himself and could tell a lot about it because of his own experience in the real profession. I could do some fun scenarios with cold and dark start-ups and some fun landings. Definitely recommended and I will hopefully come back for the new A320 sim with you!

Booked two hours in the Boeing 737 simulator, along with a video and a briefing. Good reception and good explanation. The simulator looks really professional. The instructor guides you through flying the Boeing from start to finish and provides a very good explanation! I absolutely recommend SimFlying and I definitely plan to come back here again for another simulator session!

Wow, what an amazing day we were able to give our nephew (13 years old). He has wanted to become a pilot since he was young, and this experience only reinforced that desire. We were warmly welcomed with a cup of coffee. Afterwards, we had a nice chat with the instructor, and our nephew received the necessary explanation about the Boeing 737. He was allowed to choose where 'the journey' would take us, how long we would fly over land, where to take off, and where to land. The instructor gave him so much confidence that you could literally see him grow. Amsterdam, Dubai, Curaçao—he couldn't think of anything too crazy. It felt so lifelike, as if we had literally flown back and forth for a day. There was also time to answer all his questions. It is amazing what a skilled, fun, and professional instructor can accomplish in such a short time. We enjoyed it immensely; my nephew had the experience of a lifetime, and as the icing on the cake, we even received the video within 24 hours. Thank you, SimFlying. You are amazing.

Just like that, promoted from 737 pilot to Airbus A320 captain. Landed the plane safely from Schiphol via Varsseveld at Weeze Airport and then flew to Paris in thunder and lightning weather conditions. The instructor didn't have to do a thing; he was just there for show haha (just kidding). A really fun experience, I can recommend it to everyone.

This was a fantastic Father's Day gift. Flying in the simulator of a 737NG, a brilliant experience. A warm welcome at SimFlying and a smooth and clear explanation of the instruments and cockpit. My wife was allowed to take a seat too – in the captain's seat, no less! A very realistic experience with the sound of the engines and the rotating view from the cockpit. First, flying around Amsterdam and landing back at SPL. Then a short flight to Maastricht. A great afternoon!

Today I flew an A320 simulator and I enjoyed it so much. I already have experience with flight simulation at home, and the staff were very kind enough to let me configure the aircraft myself, take off, and perform multiple manual landings in various scenarios. This is exactly what I asked for. We had a good conversation with the gentleman who is a real pilot. He was very kind to answer my questions about his life as a pilot, and he is a very nice person to talk to. I highly recommend anyone who loves flight simulation to try this out and experience how flying an aircraft comes as close to reality as possible.

Wonderful!! As a birthday present from the children, I got to fly for 2 hours in the SimFlying simulator in Aalsmeer. A wonderfully fun experience for me, two of my children, and a grandson in a very relaxed environment with a very pleasant instructor. For me, a modest flight simmer at home on my PC, it was a beautiful experience to be able to fly (almost) for real for once, with a grandson beside me. As a 72-year-old grandfather, it was a surprise to discover that flying a 737 manually can actually be hard work; it was quite a “fight” every now and then. That is a big difference from home, where taking off and landing manually requires no physical effort. I got to fly for 2 hours, beautifully at “my level,” received plenty of explanation, and of course learned from the answers to my questions. And even as a technical guy, I certainly enjoyed the simulator; we are a bit crazy about all those buttons, after all, and when we can actually operate them, we find that really fun, don't we… 😊 In short, highly recommended for flight sim enthusiasts; certainly a pleasure to experience, also thanks to the relaxed atmosphere and pleasant instructor.

As a PPL pilot, I have always wanted to fly an Airbus or Boeing. In my opinion, you can't get much closer to reality than with SimFlying. A tremendously fun and educational afternoon on the Airbus, and compliments to the passionate instructor. Next time, the Boeing 737. The only comment is that the view when approaching a runway deviates quite a bit. Because of this, you get the feeling that you are flying diagonally towards the runway. A feeling just like you have in real life when you have to make a crosswind landing. Otherwise, a perfect experience.

This afternoon, the three of us had a really great and fun sim experience in the A320. The instructor (Massoud) was very good and relaxed, gave clear explanations, and together we did a nice variety of routes and exercises. All in all, a super afternoon in the simulator. Highly recommended for everyone! And we would love to come back again!

Don't hesitate, just do it. Booked 2,5 hours with my father and we really had a great time. Both zero experience but with the extremely friendly instructor (Mike I think?) flew all kinds of fun scenarios, ample space for questions and answers. Really recommended!

Today we had a phenomenal day at SimFlying! My children, aged 13, 11, and 6, including my son who dreams of becoming a pilot, were surprised by their uncle Karim with a 2,5-hour session at SimFlying. Sunday morning, my buddy (Retired 737) and I (private pilot) flew on this simulator for two hours. From the cold & dark cockpit to a full startup, everything is functional, right down to the nose-steering wheel, the rotating trim, and the perfect sound reproduction. After playing Flight Simulator on the computer for years, I got the opportunity to take a seat in a real simulator for my birthday. THAT WAS SO COOL! We (I was allowed to bring a few family members and friends) were welcomed very nicely by Edwin. First we all had a cup of coffee and sat down to talk in a relaxed atmosphere. It was clear that this is not an assembly line job; I told them that I had encountered something on the computer and it was immediately arranged that we could practice this in the simulator. Learned a lot and had a very nice morning. I will definitely come back again.

It was quite an experience to actually fly in a simulator. My work experience at KLM has contributed to the fact that this is not entirely strange to me. It was nice to get the real feeling of all the actions that have to be done during take-off, flight and landing. The whole thing is really realistic and the instruction from the instructor was very good and clear. In my opinion it went quite well for a first time. This is definitely worth repeating and I will definitely come back for a new session. Thanks for the nice experience.

Recently (September 3, 2023) flew from Brussels to Amsterdam. So far only flown with X-Plane B738 Zibo on my iMac. Great experience, an hour and a half in a "real" simulator. Neatly received and guided by the pilot on duty and also introduced other family members to "flying". Definitely worth repeating.

What a fantastic way to end my holiday! I had booked the extra briefing and received a detailed explanation beforehand. Then I stepped into the simulator. What an experience that was! Under the guidance of a real pilot, I got to fly for 1,5 hours full of fun and enthusiasm. Everything was explained calmly, and because I had never done anything like this before, my skill level was taken into account. In addition to the extra briefing, I also booked camera footage. I received this footage the next morning and am now using it to make others jealous. I want to thank SimFlying and my guide Edwin immensely for this experience!

A super experience for a great price! It was well worth every euro for my husband and he will definitely be going back. The location looked very neat; sitting in the simulation made you forget you were in a simulation during “the flight”. The briefing with Daniël and “the flight” felt just as real as if you were a pilot. Daniël explained everything clearly and calmly, and there was plenty of room for questions. When booking, you can choose all sorts of fun extra options that already build anticipation, such as receiving an instruction booklet, having the flight recorded, etc. The communication was also direct and pleasant. 100% recommended.

I had a very enjoyable afternoon, it was very educational, and I was able to complete the 3 flights I had requested. The instructor, Stan, is a very good instructor and shares his piloting knowledge by putting himself at the level of his conversation partners. The new simulator is a nice improvement over the previous model that I had used 2-3 times before. Excellent video report of takeoffs and landings for great memories. Jente, who led our session, was excellent at explaining the nuances of flying and answering our endless questions. I gave my father a "flight" as a gift in honor of his 80th birthday. This was a particularly successful gift. First, an interesting piece of theory about flying, and then all of us (there were three of us) into the cockpit. At first, we had some doubts about whether it wouldn't be too difficult (Dad isn't getting any younger), but it turned out to be much easier than expected. It was a very fun and educational experience, the explanation was also fine, so it was a top-notch gift.

It was a unique experience to be able to take a seat in a full-fledged Boeing 737 simulator. Peter takes the time to fully familiarize you with the aircraft and not only with the buttons that you will use yourself, so you get a nice complete picture of what everything does in the cockpit.
