Privacy Statement

SimFlying is committed to customer privacy. In order to provide our services, SimFlying needs some (personal) data from you. This privacy statement tells you what personal data is involved, why we need it and how we use it.

Simflying operates a flight simulator in which both professional fliers and non-professional fliers can develop their flying skills. For companies, SimFlying offers opportunities for a (de)exciting corporate outing. To use the flight simulator, customers must make a booking and payment through the website. When making a booking, a number of details are requested and stored in the automated booking system.

What personal data is collected?

The personal data SimFlying requests from customers is limited to what is necessary for the service to function properly:

  • First and last name: So that we know who to expect and in whose name the invoice will appear; if there is anything with a specific booking date who to turn to for resolution. Also needed to comply with the legal requirement that an invoice (VAT) must be in a specific name.
  • E-mail address: Required to send a booking confirmation and needed for any correspondence, in short for customer contact and communication
  • Phone Number: Needed in case we want to contact you in special situations.
  • Residential Address: Needed to know to which address we should send any gift certificate and/or Flying Skills booklet ordered

Third Parties

For the settlement of the (automated) payments SimFlying cooperates with Mollie BV. When a payment is made through Mollie BV – for example, iDEAL – Mollie BV registers your bank account number. This bank account number does not enter SimFlying’s processing system. SimFlying may request a customer’s bank account number via a secure connection with Mollie BV in order to make a return payment in case of cancellation of a booking.
