Assessment training Boeing 737

SimFlying has a lot of recent experience (2025) with the gradings of KLM, Transavia, TUI Netherlands and Belgium, Ryanair, CityJet, SunExpress and Corendon Dutch Airlines.

A grading / assessment training at SimFlying is always tailor-made. Together with the instructor, you can determine the content of the booking: assessment training with us starts with a briefing, in which you can indicate what you want to train and for which company. You also have the option to make video footage of the session, so that you can watch the training later.

If available, you can send your briefing package in advance to info@simflying.nl for optimal preparation of our instructors.

It is advisable to bring a simbuddy. This allows the instructor to fully focus on giving instructions without having to function as Pilot Monitoring at the same time.

About the training

In addition to completing your grading program, we can also pay extra attention to, for example:

737NG Cockpit Familiarization

• PFD (Primary Flight Display) and ND (Navigation Display) – compass rose APP/VOR modes familiarization
• General flight deck layout
• Pitch & Power and Flap settings

Sim training

• Effective briefings, with emphasis on threats and error management (using Lido, Jepessen or your own assessment briefing package)
• SID: raw data or by means of LNAV/VNAV
• Handling exercises – Raw data climbing, descending, steep turns, throttle handling and instrument scanning techniques
• Holdings, holding entries, radial intercepts, NDB QDR/QDM tracking
• Raw data ILS, non-precision approaches (NDB, VOR, PBN)
• Go-around procedure
• Emergency handling, DODAR decision-making tools and NITS cabin crew briefing exercises, short- and long-term planning
• Situational awareness, Workload handling and CRM
